Gynaecologist – Obstetrician, with many years of experience necessary in this delicate and important specialisation. Former head of the Gynaecology and Obstetrics department in one of the hospitals in Poland.

Dr Michael Samberger, Consultant Gynaecologist/Obstetrician, Med. Dr, PhD
Doctor of Medical Sciences, head of a of gynaecology and obstetrics department at the private hospital in Lublin (Poland), II degree specialisation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. In the past he held a post of Head of the Department of Gynaecology – Obstetrics Hospital of Mining in Zambia and a full-time consultant in a private hospital Al Rashid in Kuwait.
Dr Samberger has a Diploma from the University of Auvergne in Clermont Ferrand in France in the field of endoscopic gynaecological surgery and the surgical treatment of urinary incontinence. He completed an internship at the Medical Faculty of the University of Texas at San Antonio, USA.

No. You can self-refer and book an appointment directly with Phoenix Women’s Health. Many women choose private care to avoid delays, gain faster access to specialist advice, and receive more time for discussion and assessment.
If you have previous results, scans, or referral letters, you are welcome to bring them with you, but they are not required..
2. What women’s health and gynaecology services do you provide?

Where needed, we can also advise on onward care or further investigations.
4. Can I be seen urgently if I’m worried about symptoms or pregnancy concerns?
Where possible, yes. We aim to offer timely appointments for women experiencing worrying, distressing, or unexpected symptoms, including pregnancy-related concerns. Many patients contact us because they prefer not to wait for NHS assessment and would like earlier reassurance, investigation, or specialist opinion.
